What this site collects

Short version: the finder runs entirely in your browser, and the only thing that can create a record here is a conversation you choose to start in the chat assistant.

The finder

The three-question finder is a decision table published in the page source and evaluated locally in your browser. Your selections are not transmitted to any server, not stored, not associated with you and not used to contact you. Reloading the page discards them.

The consultation chat

The consultation button loads a chat assistant hosted on chat.loanhub.au. If you open it and send a message, that message is processed so the assistant can reply, and the conversation may be retained so a human can review or continue it. Do not send identity documents, account numbers, tax file numbers or other sensitive personal information to a chat assistant — on this site or any other.

Opening the chat is entirely your choice; if you do not, no conversation exists.

Server logs

The site is served as static files from a content delivery network. Like any web host, it records standard request information — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and reliability. This is not linked to any identity, because the site holds no identities.

Cookies and fonts

Pages are plain static files. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a third-party font service, so reading a page stays between you and this site.

Your rights, and how to use them

Australian privacy law gives you rights of access and correction over personal information an organisation holds about you. If you have used the consultation chat and want that conversation removed, write to contact@loanhub.au with enough detail to identify it, and it will be removed.

The regulator is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au.
